I have done some crazy things to my hair over the years from bangs to bobs to pixies, but this new haircut has been by far the most difficult to adjust to. I am already enjoying it, but I am still getting used to my face with blunt bangs across my forehead!
The thing that finally convinced me that I liked my bangs actually had nothing to do with my hair, but instead was my outfit. I threw on this outfit the other day because I wanted some layers for warmth, but didn't want anything bulky. When I walked up to the mirror to see if it looked ok, I fell in love with my hair and the 60s mod girl I had become in this outfit.
The 60s have always been a source of inspiration for me from mini dresses to winged eyeliner to Twiggy. But I normally don't try and emulate it exactly. With this look though, I felt like I had just walked out of Man from Uncle or a 60s ad campaign. So the new hair cut has a big stamp of approval from me and I'll just be here dancing away in a mini dress and winged eyeliner.
Until next time...
