Winter White

Every year, I always talk about how no white after Labor Day is a dumb rule that we should actively ignore. And I normally do ignore it, especially while it's still hot and then I occasionally mix some cream into my winter wardrobe. But I normally don't make a statement quite this bold. When I put on this sweater the other day, the thought of putting on black pants or dark jeans made me shutter. It feels like that is all I wear these days and I really wanted to mix it up. Then, I saw my white pants sticking out of my drawer and it was one of those why not moments. Worst that can happen is I don't like so I take them off. But instead, I loved them. The white against white was so bold and gave my outfit the perfect statement I had been looking for. It was freezing too, so I warmed up with one of my favorite winter drinks...hot chocolate. That is the start to a perfect morning- a yummy drink and an outfit coming together!
