As we all know from this post and others, I love my sequins. Whenever any one asks, I always describe my style as classic with a feminine touch and sequins always add that extra touch that my otherwise classic pieces need. Recently I've been loving my sequined skirts and pairing them with big, chunky knits. The juxtaposition in style and texture is so fun and gives my sequined pieces a new, fun twist.
I've been obsessed with this sequined pencil skirt since I got it, but I've had a little trouble transitioning it into my every day wardrobe. However, now that it is holiday season, this skirt is perfect for all of my holiday parties and other events. Dress is up with a nice top or give it a cozy edge with a big sweater like this. Either way, I'm in love and you don't have to worry about accessories when you have a fab skirt like this! Even though the sweater tones the look down a little, it is still appropriate for any event you have and the skirt is on mega sale right now, so much so that you will probably only be able to find it in stores at J.Crew! How would you integrate sequins into your wardrobe? I would love to hear your thoughts and maybe I can experiment for both of us! Until next time...
