One of my favorite things to do is be able to style a certain piece so it is perfect for two completely different situations. These pants for instance. At first, they are super boho, which is a little out of my comfort zone, but I love it. They are also perfect for dressing up because it is almost like wearing a maxi skirt. As soon as I saw them, I knew I wanted to do a post about styling them, so here goes.
For the first look, I really wanted to enhance the boho vibe and it was just what I needed for a food truck festival I recently attended. The tank top and the necklace were my two constants with the outfits. So, I added a tied chambray to dress it down and add a little more to the boho vibe. Plus, with the flowy-ness of the pants, I wanted something to enhance my waist a little and the tied shirt acted as a belt. A cute headband and girly sneakers were the perfect way to finish this look.
For the second look, I wanted to make an outfit that was good for a date or a night out. Heels were obviously a must and the tuxedo jacket was the perfect way to finish the look off. A sparkly clutch and pink lips were the girly details that I needed to make this outfit more me.
Being able to change the look of a certain piece can be hard, but it is normally worth the effort. How would you have worn these pants? Until next time, XO.
