One of my favorite materials to wear during transitional months is chambray. It gives you that extra warmth you want and is great for layering, but the material itself isn't so thick. There is just something so classic about a chambray button-down.
For me, the perfect chambray color is a little lighter so it creates a nice contrast with my darker jeans. I love denim in all forms, but I don't like when all of denim shades match. A little too "Texas tuxedo" for me!
The great thing about chambray is that it is so easy to accessories. If you wear it with jeans, you basically have a blank slate that is just begging for some statement jewelry. I just picked up these earrings at J.Crew and I am in love.
The color is the perfect pop for summer or with a black dress. They are made of a papery material so they are incredibly light and easy to wear all day, no matter what you are doing. Statement earrings are definitely my go-to accessory right now! Until next time, XO
