Hello all! Another Turtleneck Thursday is finally here and this one is a good one. I was talking to a friend the other day about my favorite topic, turtlenecks, and she was telling me how she loved to wear them, but had trouble dressing them up for work. Of course, I immediately interjected and told her you can easily dress up a turtleneck! It is just all in the accessories. So for the next couple of Thursdays I am going to give y'all some ways to make your turtlenecks work appropriate.
This week, pair your turtleneck with a blazer. If you blazer is darker, choose a bright turtleneck and a sparkly necklace so you don't lose your entire figure or look dull. If you are wearing jeans, choose a dark wash with a pair of neutral heels. With dress pants, you could wear some cute flats or heels even if you need to be more dressed up.
Either way, if you are having trouble with your turtleneck, think of it like a button-down shirt or long-sleeve top. It doesn't have to be complicated, so don't make it complicated. Just go out there and rock that turtleneck. Until next time, XO
